What Happened Today: Top News and Historical Events – October 27th 2024

I’m playing around with some Python code and LLMs to generate interesting information daily – this was inspired by the email I get daily from 1440. I find that the part I look forward to the most is the “Historybook” section at the end of the email. So I instructed an LLM (after a lot of testing) to do the same. I may do this daily, I might never do it again, who knows?

Since these were created by an LLM, I wouldn’t count anything here as gospel, especially the current news – LLMs are very hard to get to use up-to-date information – but I’m testing to see how good it does.
